Just a few changes

Update
Just so I keep you guys updated, I removed the Video category because with us scheduling videos it makes it hard to verify they are also posted here in a timely fashion. Instead I’m looking for a way to post videos early for active members of the community.

Contest
As for the contest this month, I’m going to try to take a count around the 15th and post the results so you all have an idea on where you stand in the running.

Videos
I’m also going to look at a way for us to do some more live streams though it’s a little difficult with the major time zone differences between us as staff / hosts. I’m also looking at bringing a new staff member on board who will help create content especially on the Windows side of things. I have a couple of videos to edit and post / schedule and they should show up next week sometime depending on how much I can get done this weekend. I also want to do some live gaming videos playing with you guys, if you have a good cross platform game that you would like to play with us, let me know, I’d like to get some people together to play Don’t Starve Together and see how long we can last.

Fourms
I’m thinking about adding a sub-category in the “Members Only” section where community members can share their own YouTube videos, though this is a work in progress and there will be some guidelines that must be followed. I think I’m going to run some of these ideas by the Administration board to get their input.

Random Idea
What are your guys’ thoughts on creating a Community board (picked by the administration and rotated every 6 months or so as our user base grows) where certain members will have some pull in the way the community goes? If you need more clarification feel free to state so in a reply. We will always value user’s input but this gives normal users a little more pull (I guess that’s what you would call it) within the community.
