What is your take on AI in IT?

I'm curious on what everyone's take on AI in IT? Have you experienced people using AI to write scripts that they don't know how its working?

I think as long as you can actually understand what your working on its okay to use as long as its also peer reviewed. What I dislike is if someone uses it to write a script and can't tell you how its working or fix it if something isn't correct.
