So over the past couple weeks or so I have been working on moving into a new job. I’m talking to and working on starting with an IT consulting company who primarily deals with Windows / Windows Server / Hyper-V. So I have set up a little Windows lab on an old laptop. Basically I have this laptop running HyperV then inside HyperV I am running a small windows network. I have set up Active Directory / File Server on one VM and on another I am trying to setup SharePoint (and failing) and Exchange Server. Then I have one Windows 7 client machine so far though I plan to add a few others.
Before you all say anything I still would rather use Linux over Windows but I understand that to work in IT you really need to know Windows and I have forgotten a lot of my Windows knowledge hints why I have the lab.
My plan for the next several months is upgrade my ProxMox server and then move the current ProxMox server into a Windows lab server and have it handle all of my lab functions.
Any ways this is just a little update with what I have been doing, so what have you guys been up to?
